SpongeBob's Bad Decision

SpongeBob walked into Walmart with exactly $3 in his pocket. He headed straight to the candy aisle.

"Perfect! M&Ms!" SpongeBob said, grabbing a bag.

At the register, the cashier scanned the bag. "That'll be $4.50."

SpongeBob's face fell. "But I only have $3!"

"Sorry, you'll need to put them back," the cashier said.

SpongeBob looked at the M&Ms. He'd been craving them all day. Without thinking, he shoved the bag in his pocket and walked toward the door.

BEEP BEEP BEEP! The security alarm went off.

A security guard stopped him immediately. "Sir, did you pay for those?"

SpongeBob's heart sank. "I... I didn't have enough money..."

The police were called. SpongeBob was arrested for shoplifting and taken to the Bikini Bottom jail.

He sat in a cell, feeling terrible. "What have I done? I can't believe I stole something!"

Mr. Krabs had to come bail him out the next day.

"SpongeBob, I'm disappointed in you, boy," Mr. Krabs said. "That's not who you are."

"I know, Mr. Krabs. I made a terrible mistake. I should have just left the store and saved up my money."

SpongeBob had to do community service and pay a fine. He learned that no candy was worth losing his integrity over.

The End.
