SpongeBob's Amazing Popsicle Discovery
One hot Saturday afternoon, SpongeBob was walking home from jellyfishing when he stopped at Gus's Gas Station for a cold treat.
"What can I get you, SpongeBob?" asked Gus, the friendly fish who ran the station.
"I'll take that SpongeBob popsicle!" SpongeBob said, pointing excitedly at the freezer. "It looks just like me!"
SpongeBob paid for his popsicle and walked outside, unwrapping it carefully. Sure enough, it was a perfect yellow popsicle shaped exactly like him, complete with square pants and a big smile.
"Wow!" SpongeBob said to himself. "This is almost too cool to eat!"
But as he looked closer at his popsicle, he noticed something very strange. The popsicle SpongeBob was holding a tiny popsicle of its own!
"Gary!" SpongeBob called to his snail. "Look at this! My popsicle has its own little popsicle!"
Gary meowed in amazement.
SpongeBob carefully broke off the tiny popsicle from the bigger one. It was a perfect miniature version, about the size of his thumb.
But then he noticed something even stranger - the tiny popsicle was also holding an even tinier popsicle!
"This is incredible!" SpongeBob gasped. "It's like a popsicle family!"
He ran to Patrick's rock and knocked excitedly. "Patrick! Patrick! You have to see this!"
Patrick rolled out from under his rock. "What's all the excitement about?"
"Look at my popsicle! It has a popsicle, and that popsicle has a popsicle, and that one probably has one too!"
Patrick's eyes went wide. "It's like... popsicles all the way down!"
They carefully separated each tiny popsicle, and sure enough, each one contained an even smaller version. Soon they had a whole line of SpongeBob popsicles arranged from biggest to smallest.
"We need to show everyone!" SpongeBob declared.
They gathered all their friends at the Krusty Krab. Sandy, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and even Mrs. Puff came to see the amazing discovery.
"Well, I'll be dipped!" Sandy exclaimed. "That's some serious food engineering right there!"
"How small does it go?" wondered Squidward.
They kept carefully separating the popsicles, each one getting tinier and tinier. Soon they needed Sandy's magnifying glass to see them properly.
"This one's the size of a jellyfish!" SpongeBob pointed out.
"And this one's the size of plankton!" Patrick added.
"Did someone say plankton?" came a tiny voice.
Everyone looked around until they spotted Plankton sitting on the table, looking very interested in the microscopic popsicles.
"Is that the tiniest one?" Plankton asked, pointing at a popsicle so small it was barely visible.
"I think so," SpongeBob said, squinting. "I can't see if it has another one inside."
Plankton rubbed his tiny hands together. "Perfect! Finally, a popsicle that's the right size for me!"
Before anyone could stop him, Plankton grabbed the microscopic popsicle and popped it in his mouth.
"Mmm!" Plankton said, smacking his lips. "That's the most perfectly-sized popsicle I've ever had! And it tastes just like SpongeBob - sweet and a little salty!"
"Hey!" SpongeBob protested with a laugh.
"You know what this means?" Mr. Krabs said, his eyes turning into dollar signs. "We could sell popsicles for every size customer! Tiny ones for Plankton, regular ones for everyone else!"
"That's actually a great idea," Sandy said. "Though I wonder how they got so many popsicles inside one popsicle."
"Maybe it's magic!" Patrick suggested.
"Or maybe," Squidward said thoughtfully, "some things in life are just wonderfully mysterious."
As everyone marveled at the remaining popsicles, Plankton patted his tiny belly contentedly. "You know what? Today turned out pretty good. I got the perfect snack and I didn't even have to try to steal the Krabby Patty formula!"
"There's enough popsicle for everyone!" SpongeBob said happily, breaking off pieces of the larger popsicles to share.
And as they all enjoyed their SpongeBob popsicles together, Plankton smiled to himself, already planning to ask Gus if he had any more microscopic treats in stock.
The End.
