Mr. Krabs and Sandy's Uno Game

One quiet afternoon at the Krusty Krab, Sandy was waiting for her Krabby Patty when she noticed Mr. Krabs sitting at a table with a deck of cards.

"Whatcha got there, Mr. Krabs?" Sandy asked.

"Oh, just me favorite card game - Uno!" Mr. Krabs said. "I like to play during me break."

Sandy's eyes lit up. "You play Uno? I LOVE Uno! We played it all the time back in Texas!"

"Really?" Mr. Krabs perked up. "Want to play a game?"

"You bet!"

Mr. Krabs set up the game and pulled out a big bowl of M&M's. "Can't play Uno without snacks!"

They started playing, munching on M&M's between turns. Sandy was pretty good, playing her cards strategically.

"Blue 7!" Sandy announced.

"Red 7!" Mr. Krabs countered.

The game was going well until Mr. Krabs drew a Draw 4 card.

"Draw 4, Sandy! And I'm changing the color to... red!"

Sandy drew four cards. A few turns later, Sandy played her own Draw 4.

"Draw 4, Mr. Krabs!"

But Mr. Krabs held up his claw. "Ah, wait! There's a special rule - if BOTH players have Draw 4 cards, the person who played it second has to draw 8 cards instead!"

"That's not a real rule!" Sandy laughed.

"Sure it is! House rules!" Mr. Krabs grinned.

Sandy shook her head with a smile and drew her cards.

The next time Mr. Krabs played a Draw 4, he announced, "And according to the rules, if you play a Draw 4 when there's an even number of M&M's in the bowl, you only draw 2 cards instead of 4!"

"Mr. Krabs, you're just making these rules up as you go!" Sandy said, trying not to laugh.

"Business tactics, Sandy! Always be flexible with the rules!"

Every time Mr. Krabs played a Draw 4, he invented a new rule that somehow helped him: "Draw 4s don't count on Tuesdays!" or "If you're wearing a red hat, you draw half!"

Sandy knew he was making it all up, but she was having too much fun to care. They kept playing and eating M&M's, laughing at Mr. Krabs' ridiculous made-up rules.

"You know you're cheating, right?" Sandy said with a grin.

"Cheating? I prefer to call it 'creative rule interpretation!'" Mr. Krabs chuckled.

When the game finally ended (with Mr. Krabs winning, of course), they had eaten all the M&M's and were both smiling.

"That was fun!" Sandy said. "Even with all your silly rules!"

"Want to play again tomorrow?" Mr. Krabs asked hopefully.

"Only if I get to make up some rules this time!" Sandy laughed.

"Deal!"

And from that day on, Mr. Krabs and Sandy had regular Uno games with the most ridiculous, made-up rules in all of Bikini Bottom.

The End.
